About Me
I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. There I met my husband of almost 40 years. We have three children and five beautiful grandchildren.
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University and my Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Norfolk State University.
I understand the importance of family and friends and doing things to entertain them. Therefore, I started planning family reunions and loved the end results. People were happy--they liked the programs, entertainment, and being educated about their family history.
I also understand how important it is to have the wedding of your dreams within a reasonable budget. My oldest daughter entrusted me to plan her wedding, every aspect of it. She did not want to take on the stress of planning the wedding. Family and friends who attended the festivities complimented the venue, the elaborate reception, and table design.
I know the importance of friendship. I have planned social events for friends at my home and received telephone calls weeks later asking me to plan another event. That was when I fully realized my talent of event planning; there was a reason that people continued to ask me to plan upcoming reunions, complimented me on the grand wedding, and raved about my work at social events.
I was inspired to optimize my gift. I completed my official training with Correlations Personal and Professional Training Development founded in Atlanta, GA and was certified as an Event Planner.
Your special event or celebration deserves attention to every detail. I strive to provide excellent customer service and believe that each event should represent the client. I specialize in themed events, birthday parties, weddings, and showers. I take pride in planning and together we can make your event go smoothly, be stress-free and fun. I have the passion for event planning, the eye for details, and the creative vision to make it a reality.
